Hemingway Daiquiri
Rum / Lime / Maraschino / Grapefruit
Also known as a Papa Doble. It's a classic variation of the Daiquiri and was popular at the El Floridita bar in Havana, Cuba. Not to be confused with the modern day Daiquiri, this is not a slushy.

La Louisiane
Rye / Benedictine / Sweet Vermouth / Absinthe / Peychaud's Bitters
Introduced as a Cocktail a la Louisiane by Stanley Clisby Arthur in Famous New Orleans Drinks and HOw to Mix 'Em (1937). This was the house specialty cocktail of the Restaurant de la Louisiane in New Orleans. A tad bit sweeter than Manhattan however, a lot more complex.

Moscow Mule
Vodka / Ginger Beer / Lime
The Moscow Muke was popularizes by Smirnoff as a promotion to popularize vodka for post World War II United States. As part of the promotion, the English pub-style Cock and Bull on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, which was a huge movie-star hangout at the time, offered a customized mug to every Hollywood star who ordered a Moscow Mule. A very drinkable beverage, I would bet it would treat your stomach right after a nice sized meal.

French 75
Gin / Lemon / Champagne
Named for the 75 millimeter gun (more like a huge cannon) used by American forces during World War I, this drinks first appeared in the 1930 Savory Cocktail Book y Harry Craddock. Some may say this drink should have cognac which tasted good too. However, gin is the proper ingredient. Even if you have had a French 75 else where try ours we actually measure and use fresh squeezed lemon juice.

Singapore Sling
Gin / Cherry Herring / Pineapple / Lime / Benedictine / Bitters
The Singapore Sling was created by Mr. Ngiam Tong Boon for the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore around 1915. This is a true recipe; one that was almost lost, but rediscovered in recent history. If you're not a gin drinker I would reconsider for this infamous cocktail.

Mai Tai
Light Rum / Gold Rum / Dark Rum / Orange Curacao / Lime / Orgeat
Created in 1944 by Victor "Trader Vic" Bergeron. "Maita'i" is the Tahitian word for "good." Mai Tai became a popular cocktail in the 1950's and 1960's. Mai Tai is an balance of citrus, sweet, a hint of almond, and lot of rum.
